Cynthia Lohr
Cynthia traversed the globe early in life, so her art inclines to the music and customs of remote lands. In the past twenty years, Cynthia has devoted herself to Eastern European and African music and beyond, performing with noted Bay Area ensembles KITKA and Savina, Afro-funk band Wazobia, and a veritable spice rack of ethnic ensembles, which has enabled her to perform in 19 different languages and has resulted in five recordings, and music for the movie Jacob's Ladder. A former technology evangelist, Cynthia now leads marketing efforts for her family wine business, J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines, and when not raising two gorgeous girls with husband Sam, counts among her indulgences reading, writing, music and serving on the board of directors for the Edgewood Center for Children and Families.
